Being serious, if you are doing a "restoration" or trying to get a vehicle as light as possible it would be worth more than someone that was building a "performance" slant. Need to see how much internal corrosion there is at the top of the cyl liners, and in the water jacket. Parts/ gaskets are getting hard to find. The head gasket and rear main seal are particular to the aluminum engine. Also the aluminum engine is limited to a over bore of about .040, so cyl wear could be an issue
 
A guy in Texas has been trying to sell a parts engine for 1K US for a few years.
He still has it.
