Aluminum Head Paint?

Hello everyone. I was woundering if there was something wrong with painting aluminum heads. It seems that all the crate motors, and engine rebuilds I see all of them do not paint their heads.

Does it retain heat? I know that aluminum heads dissipate heat better than Iron heads. Am I looking at trouble if I paint my aluminum heads, or do I have nothing to worry about?

there is nothing wrong with painting aluminum heads. use engine paint if ya want em painted.. many people do it to have a factory appearance...I like it bare myself...lol

Thank you. I was just wondering. I'm going for the look of a relitively stock appearing motor. I've desided on a 383 instead of a 440. Well 496 stroker is more like it. 440 sorce has some aluminum heads that I'm really looking hard at. I want people who have no idea what they are looking at to say " that dosen't to hopped up".
