[WANTED] Aluminum Valve Covers

I'm looking for a nice setup a plain aluminum valve covers for my SB. Trying to avoid a pair of junk ones, but not looking to spend a ton. Something decent in the middle of the road.

Any ideas?

What do you mean "plain" ?
Cast or fabricated?

I like the old M/T cast alluminuns, with the polished ribs
They pop up for from time to time in the for sale forum, about 70 to 100 bucks

I like the fabricated one. I like the that you can see the welds. Also would like something with dual breather holes on both covers.

I got those exact covers in the polished version for 40 bucks on here, so keep watching for them and they will probably pop up again.

holes are easily drilled
just make sure you put a breather on one side, and a PCV on the other

good point...on the cast ones these are easily added
the fabricated ones , not so much
