Ah, just discovered this part of the forum!

Just in case we have any lurkers or guys we haven't caught out and about in their cars....There is a Mopar club in Amarillo...Everyone said it wouldn't work, not enough Mopars around etc...Well, as usual the brand-x crowd was wrong...very wrong 8)

We attend local events and put on a few of our own...We are always looking for new members! Membership is tough though: We accept any Mopar and membership is FREE!! If you somehow meet the stringent criteria...welcome aboard!

We aren't just for "Amarillo" the "Area" that follows refers to how ever far out we can get! If you are in Eastern New Mexico, the Oklahoma Panhandle, or southern Kansas, or just anywhere nearby and you'd like to be involved, just let me know...

We've got lots of members, know-how, and parts/cars to swap around...What are you waiting for?

For more info, just reply here or shoot me an email:
[email protected]

Thanks,

Lance

Great post Lance! You should get a lot of new members.

Let me know when your next event is going to be and I'll get you a Gift Certificate you can raffle off or give away. The only criteria is that you let me know who wins it so I can add their name and city to my website! :-D

Thanks and will do!

We'll prob have small gtgs, but I'm hoping to have a show or two and our first ever caravan to Palo Duro Canyon...The gift certificate would certainly be helpful to lure in more to that one!

Getting you the said info would not be a problem at all...Who knows, might bring in some more business for you from the area!

Lance, just let me know the formal name of whatever AAM event you want the gift certificate for, its date(s) since each one is custom-tailored, and your mailing address and I'll get you the gift certificate, a flyer and some business cards by mail.

Any exposure for PSC is good. Even if I don't get any new customers as a result, it helps spread the word and get the name out there into the car community.

I'll look forward to hearing from you in due course. Feel free to shoot me a PM or give me a call at your convenience.

Thanks! We'll hopefully hash everything out and finalize some dates...then I'll get you the info 8)

I'll try to play it up as much as I can for you

You are more than welcome to join as an Austin based member...that would greatly expand our territory! Should be some decent sized clubs in the Austin area too...

Will do Spencer...We'd love to have some of ya'll come up!

We have a cruise night the first Saturday of every month at the Region 16 building, corner of Bell and Hillside (Southwest Amarillo). Obviously the weather usually dictates the turnout...It is free, and a chance to get a car out and have some fun.

If you'd like to receive monthly newsletters just shoot me your e-mail address and I'll add you to the mailing list!

The next big event for Amarillo is the Make-A-Wish Car Show...aside from that anything we do over the winter will be last minute runs to the rootbeer stand or something should we get a good weekend forecast...I will do my best to keep you posted.

Thanks for the interest!

Hey Stroker, when is your Make a Wish car show? I'd love to donate a gift certificate to your club for it if there's still time to get it down there. Shoot me a PM with your mailing address and I'll get it out the door. AAM can raffle it off, give it away to the ugliest engine compartment ... whatever you want to do with it. All I ask is you let me know who wins it so I can put their name on my website. :-D

Hey CudaChick,

I hadn't forgot about your offer...I was trying to hold out for a show I thought we might have been able to pull off late in the fall at Palo Duro Canyon, but due to race schedules, trips, and bad weather it never got to materialize.

I'm still hoping to pull that one off (granted not during the winter). I'm thinking maybe early spring or something...And was going to use your gift certificate to try and bait some more guys/gals into going...
Also hoping to get feedback from some "nearby" folks in regards to a good time...

I felt bad for not getting back in touch with you, but didn't have any definitive dates.

Make-A-Wish usually falls the last week of February or the first week of March...not 100% sure on the date yet...

I'll try and find out and get the info to you...I will definitely let you know who the lucky recepient is...

I'd give it out for "ugliest engine compartment" but I don't really want to send any chevy business your way 8)

Stroker, don't worry -- you're not limited to just one Gift Certificate or anything! I'll send you one for all of your shows if you like. I just need to know the formal name of the show, the date(s), and where to send it. I especially enjoy getting in on good causes, and it helps get my shop's name out there to the motorhead community.

Got a great laugh out of your last comment. The Chevy guys aren't so bad to work for (they can afford to spend lots of money with me since their motor parts are so cheap), but all those blue Ford valve covers can get a bit boring at times. LOL!!!! These were a fun project though.

Looks good...for a ford ;) Hopefully if the winners make use of the gift certificates they will atleast be sending in Mopar gear!

We are hoping to hash out some dates early into 09 to shoot for...And we are always trying to do stuff for a good causes as well...If I get an 'official' site up and running I can rig up some sort of banner (provided I can figure it out, lol)...

I'll keep you posted though...should all fall together eventually.

Well don't think I ever officially updated this anywhere, so I figured this was the place to do it. I did add the link to the sig, but it will be easier to find here. Back in January I got a donation to try the website out...worst case scenario we would have had two users and be out for a year on a domain name and 3 months of hosting...

As fate would have it things worked out pretty well. The registered users are REAL and the majority are local or have ties to the area. If anyone is heading out this direction, planning to move out this way, or wants to see if anything is going down when you pass thru town feel free to check out the site:
