Amp meter bypass.

Can I just remove the two wires on my Amp meter and fuse them together?
I am upgrading to a 60 Amp alternator and installing a voltmeter.

Technically you can. You should check the associated wiring that passes through the bulkhead connector for damage (meltage) in the process.

Yes you can. As mentioned you REALLY should also drill through the bulkhead connecto and splice together the wiring for it.

You will need a volt gauge to monitor your charging system.
