Screwed together a pump gas 512 for my dads Dart. Source kit, Indy 325’s, and the solid roller from Andy F’s 470. Haven’t driven it yet but I did start it the other day. Sounds pretty good.

I see some of my parts on the build, motor plate looks nice. I bet you'll be north of 700 hp with that cam and those heads. Should be a fun ride. What compression ratio did you end up with?

it’s 10.5:1. I figured that cam worked good at that compression in your 470 so it would probably be a good fit for this engine! Just wish I had the Wilson intake... lol

Yeah that should get it done. You're 40 cubes bigger than my engine. What rocker arm ratio did you go with? I was running the 1.65 ratio T&D rockers on my 470 and they worked really nice. I sold the low deck Wilson Indy intake. Not sure I remember who bought it. It was a fantastic intake. I'm sure Wilson can do the same to yours if you decide to pull the trigger on it down the road.

I put 1.6’s on it. It was netting just a touch over .700 with lash when I checked it. The intake I have now was ported at compuflow. It looked pretty good, I just touched it up a little more. I think I would start with a new intake to send to Wilson. Did you send them the heads as well or just a gasket to match it too?

I did not send them heads, I think I either sent them a gasket or I cut a template. I really don't remember. I was using TF270 heads out of the box so that was what we were matching to. If you have Indy ported heads you might want them to go a bit larger. There are different MW size gaskets on the market so you just have to buy them all and see which one matches your heads. I used to use the Mr Gasket 302 gasket on my race heads. The 302 gasket was the largest MW port size. Not sure what Indy ports their heads to so you just have to try different gaskets to find out.

Cool , which one do u like the best/versus cost , and how are they on the street ?

YOUR SET UP LOOKS LIKE , , , IT GROWED THERE . -----------Okie speak for kick a$$.

Forgot to update, I didn’t really get any good passes on it last year. Car needs slicks, the old drag radials aren’t cutting it. Be back at it when spring hits. It looks promising

Looks like you have enough power to go mid 9's once you get it launching hard. Should be a fun car to take to the track.
