I love this guy's stuff:

He's making mid 600's at the wheels. So 750ish crank in a sbe 5.9. Very impressive and makes me wonder-again-what the limits really are.

I’m most surprised at the powerband hanging on after 6k. 30hp from a 1.5psi increase…that turbo might have quite a bit more in it. Can’t wait to see what it does at the next track outing.

I’m pretty sure it’s timing that kills them. All the SBE LS guys have figured it out. Pull a couple degrees at MBT where cylinder pressure is the highest and it’s a lot less stressful on everything. I think a lot of mopar guys just want to jam a bunch of timing in them cause obviously it makes more power but don’t consider all the variables. Granted magnum/la stuff hasn’t been in production since 03 so the technology and knowledge wasn’t there for guys trying to do it but now that the tech is there I think a lot of guys are still behind the curve when it comes to understanding exactly what’s going on.

It’s interesting that he’s data logging crankcase pressure also. I’m curious to see where he takes that measurement and what’s considered acceptable pressure. Said he was seeing 1psi of crank pressures at 18psi on the turbo.

From his previous vids he has a pressure transducer threaded into the passenger valve cover. He stated when he blew a head gasket previously that he saw pressure increase. Didn’t state what it went to but that he did know exactly in the run when it blew. Seems like he stated when he went into high gear.

I like that little truck. Makes me want to build one.

He logs a bunch of data. He's monitoring wheel position to help with his shock tuning. That truck is very fast.
