Ive got a 68 barracuda and im looking for opinions on front wheels and tires.

Big bolt pattern, dr diff wilwood disc brake conversion, late a-body spindles.

Ive got a set of 15x7 4" backspace wheels laying around. Anyone out there know if these would work with a set of 225/60r15 tires?

Ive been reading 15x7 4.25 or 4.5 bs will work.

on my 69 i'm set up with 73~76 in the front and got cop wheels with 215/65-15's and it's close at the top lip-- like special care when turning into a driveway close. but i am also lower than stock.

cop wheels are 15X7 4.25BS

if you're not much lower than stock, mayyyybbeee you'll just squeak by.

Im thinking not to use these wheels o have laying around.
i'm working on the *assumption* that the track width is the same with the wilwoods as it is with factory discs. and if so, then you'd be tight, tight with a 225, even on 4.25BS if you're low.

but if you aren't low, and don't have wheel lip molding, and have some decent t-bars... as long as you don't go divebombing driveways at full lock you'd probably be fine. if you went down to 215's i'd venture to guess you'd be okay.
