does the low band apply situation exist in all automatics? I run a turbo 400 with a tranny brake and a turbo 350 also with a tranny brake.. both tranny s free wheel in low....does this mean they are subject to exploding ? i have been doing my pre stage burn outs starting in low gear for the past 10 years or so, do i have an explosion waiting to happen? the only trannies I have seen blow up are the 727 s ...and only one of those in 30 plus years at the drag strip.
