Another straggler followed me home!

I don't know how I missed this thread before. I have kind of a soft spot for the Ramchargers. I had a loaded, all-black 440 75 SE(I think), which I converted over to '78 exterior trim, and repainted mostly black over red garnet pearl metallic sides(between the trim). It was quite striking. I frequently got compliments from complete strangers on the paint.
Something I did was to drill holes in the interior side of the roof shell and sprayed foam insulation in between the sheet metal to combat the sweating. It also reduced the noise level inside, too. Of course, I used black plastic plugs to cover the holes, and it didn't look bad at all.

The trip was very worth while!

I agree, they are not only for pulling in or out of spots. They come in very handy around the acreage too!

yup. I bought some 40ft long steel H-beams, and I used the winch with some snatch blocks to pull them under my house, so I could jack it up and put a 4ft tall daylight basement wall under my house.

Good to see the work you are doing.
Let me know if you ever come across a 69 Dart tailpanel or bulge hood, I'm not that far away.
I have some inner fenders in sunfire yellow you could have.

The floor pans are sealed now. I just haven’t decided whether to buy new carpet or just use some indoor outdoor stuff.

I found a factory roll bar for the Ramcharger. This one didn’t come with one. But it didn’t have the support arms. I fabricated those and painted it up. It’s installed now. I also have another roof as this one is rusted at the front. Not beyond repair but I’m just gonna change mine. In any case it is close to spring so now the truck is topless!

I like it, I wish I could come over to see it!

It has been a while since I've been here! With life and the "C" word getting in the way, fun has been limited. But sometimes life leads you to fun. I needed to update my water treatment system in my house so I found some pieces on kijiji. I went to purchase them and while I was there noticed some older vehicles sitting over in the field. Of course my inquiring mind had to ask........well, when someone says "Give me $100 and I'll load them for you", you hand over $200 and seal the deal. Like I needed more stuff......:realcrazy:
So, the purchase was completed and a friend helped me haul 3 old vehicles home.
A 1941 Plymouth Roadking Special
A 1937 Ford 2 ton (2 out of 3 ain't bad!)
A 1939-1947 Fargo pickup........which made it's way into the shop. :)

Just read this thread from front to back and must say, impressive work and awesome finds. I also like to find them and save them. Not a pro by any means but am getting better as time goes on. Love to see them all saved. Will be following along

Well, I stuffed an A-body 7 1/4 diff under the truck so I could roll it outside for a bath. The VIN tag is long gone on this truck. I knew it was a 39-47 and the owner figured it was a Fargo. I have looked top to bottom for any indication of the year. I just was washing it off and had a look at the clutch and brake pedals. Thank you Ma Mopar for your date stamps! The pedal is stamped 12-13-38. That should imply it is a 39 model year. I know they could have had them on the shelf for years but that is good enough for me. Now I just have to decide if I want a Fargo or a Plymouth front end! They are the same and differ from the Dodge clip. Oh ya, it was maroon in color. I have a purple 39!
