We've had a few 289's. I tell ya what, when they're behind a standard shift (I like 'em 3 on the tree ), they have unreal quickness. A few '64 Ford Fairlane's with 289 2bbl sticks made some real muscle cars sweat from 0-80 !Somethin small and zippy. Sunbeam Tiger with a 289 and 4 speed.
I had one of those somewhere around 1972? maybe?Somethin small and zippy. Sunbeam Tiger with a 289 and 4 speed.
Agreed! My favorites would be among the 68-70 B-bodies, E-bodies, and most A-bodies. I think a 70 Coronet has one of the baddest front ends coming at yai don't think most of us could name one...a favorite top ten maybe.
