Hey Guys,
I was thinking about trying theses headers. They seem like a good deal and from reading the reviews it seems like they fit an A body well. Looking at the picture (that's assuming that the picture is of the actual part) it looks like the drag link doesn't go through the drivers side header. The price is way reasonable and as the funds for the new 416 are dwindling I am looking to save where I can. I trust the option of the FABO community. Thanks

Summit Racing® Metallic-Ceramic Coated Headers SUM-G9140

They look great. Does the drag link go through the drivers side header?
Yes, in that price range it's all you'll find, but the flanges aren't as ugly at the port entrance of header. Those 1st run jegs and summit headers are that cheap for a reason, ugly, but hey... if they got better since then, ill take that back.

@superchargeddgt

The Summit headers that you linked to are of the typical 1 size fits all design. So I’m sorry to say, yes, the steering linkage does indeed go through the headers.

Now, between those headers and the ones MP official posted about, figment wise, I couldn’t say who’s fit better because I have had the Summit headers fit great one and not so well a second time.
I have NOT tried the Patriot headers.

IMO, this header design, no matter by who, lacks In quality control industry wide.
I have had Hedman & Hookers twice. Same as the Summit headers. Once great, once crappy.

I myself would ether....

Get the Summit black painted units and fit them in and then later coat
(if desired)

and/or

Save up for ether the Doug’s or tti headers.
