Anyone have experience with a 4bbl 450 CFM Holley Economaster Carb...

Small cube V8, slant 6, or a dual quad application. What is it? A 4160 series? (with the transfer tube.)

It's part of my collection for cross country. Gas sipping carb, Streetmaster intake, 2.94 gears, taller tires, MSD 8680 dash Adjustable timing, ram air, etc

A friend of mine had a late 70's Chevy Crewcab 3/4 ton pickup with a 454. He got 9 or 10 miles per gallon. He thought he would be thrifty. He built a 283 with a mileage cam and one of those 450 spreadbores. Guess what-10 mpg and a gutless pig!

If You plan on just getting around & econo cruising, it will do just that, just don't expect much more from it & You're good.

I think it depends on what it's on. Like on a slant 6 for example, it might work pretty good. I have a very complete one myself and I'm going to put a kit in it one of these days. Holley made several different Economaster carburetors. One barrel, two barrel and four barrel. There was a one barrel in the for sale section recently.
