Anyone here find energy suspension dust boots a bit too big?

Bought a set of steer and gear dust boots for my pitman and idler arm for my 1969 dart swinger 340. Those fit just fine, while the set of 4 energy suspension (9.13102) tie rod dust boots seem a bit too big at the base as well as the opening diameter when testing on my tie rods. Anyone else have this problem?

mine were the same too, they fit over the rubber sealed units, for a covering on my replacement moogs

ahaha. So the energy suspension dust boots, are, "dust boots, for the dust boots". Sigh, guess it's time to go to O'riely and just find some universal boots.

That explains,a lot.....(sigh..).

I cut my new rubber dust boots in half picking up the front end on the tie rods, the poly boots don't do that though.
