On either side of the trunk pan next to the leaf springs, are these "strap" looking things..they almost feel like leather.. Also, there are brackets welded to the trunk pan.. What are these..??
Anyone know what these are..?

The brackets under the well are for the j-bolts
for the gas tank straps.

Thanks..! Guess i should've known that...and would've figured it out quick enough as my tank will be going in tomorrow...lol
Those rubber ones look like aftermarket exhaust hanger parts.

Yep...and more than likely a self tapping screw holding them up.
