I saw them for $800. He is not responding to any requests for information or location.

Haven't heard about the pro Max Magnum heads is that something new? How did they compare to the RT head or Edelbrock heads or are they just a stock replacement head like the EQ heads are? I think I've heard of the promax in big block and maybe La aluminum heads wish there was more pictures of the ports but the one picture it does have of the 2 center exhaust ports they look like something that a little bit of time with a die grinder could be shaped into a nice Port that would flow pretty good with not too much work

Those are going to be the readily available china cast iron magnum head. Not as good as the "old EQs" and there are designed to be a stock oem truck casting. They CAN be ported, and the valve job improved, and if they dont have bronze guides or liners, dont bother

This would be worth a phone call to ProMax for your answer. This company prides themselves on getting their heads as rough as possible and doing them in house. The aluminum set that I tested and did a post about had a beautiful valve job. I called and talked to him and had a nice conversation.
