Anyone try colour-matching their dart's grille?

I've almost finished shaving my front side markers and about to order a new valance so paint time is just around the corner.

I have a '71 grille on my '72 and I've been playing around with the idea of painting the parts that would normally be silver to match the body colour. I'm just having a hard time visualizing how it would look.

So, has anybody here done this to their dart, or seen a dart like this?

Yup, Sizzler option Demons came that way from the factory if they were certain colors. Here's a few I've collected...
