So I have a manual transmission bell housing for a small block but it's hooked up to something other than an A-833. So I'm thinking I'll list it locally on MP. Just not sure if I should list it for the A833?
Are all manual transmission small block bell housings the same?

It's in a Ramcharger. But it's not the original engine or transmission that it came with.
I have no idea what it is. But when I picked it up I asked the guy if it was an A-833.
He said if it was it wouldn't be in there!
It does have Bull Low though. So maybe it came out of a 3/4 ton? IDK.
Edit; Just trying to sell the bell housing, especially if it'll work for someone that needs one for an A-833. I take it from the way the guy was talking to me he didn't think the tranny itself was worth anything.
PS it is NOT LISTED FOR SALE HERE. JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF IT'LL WORK ON AN A-833.

Back in the day, I rebuilt hundreds of those transmissions. IMO, they are a great trans when used as the were intended to be. They are pretty stout.

No, will not work in an A body with an A833 without extensive rework.
Late truck bellhousing with hydraulic clutch and an 11 inch flywheel. Even if you redrill it for an 833 the slave will probably interfere with the side shift linkage on an 833.

You can sell that bellhousing over on the truck forum pretty easily... That one should also bolt up to an NV type transmission.
