Im interested in a car.
I send an email and call / leave a ## to call me back.

Never hear from the person.

Whats wrong with you.

Too busy texting and driving??

Yep-just too busy,or has already sold it.

If he were on drugs he would have called you back and sold the car to you for next to nothing to score.

you would think that when someone has something to sell, they would want to sell it. i lost count of how many times ive replied to an add and heard nothing back. i guess their sack wasnt quite gone yet or they are just lonely and like getting phone calls and emails to feel like someone cares....

I think some sellers use not calling back as a tactic to "weed" out people who aren't really interested. It's a silly practice often resulting in a missed sale. I usually only try to contact 2 times then I figure it's just a B/S ad or seller.

We know how you guy's feel....... but it happen's all the time unfornately
on this site and other site's too. Usually, if we are interested in something and respond to an ad here or else where, and we do not here from them, then
they will probably never have anything that we will ever need, and even if they do, we will look elsewhere. Some people don't even have enough courtesy to get back to you and say, it's sold, gone, or whatever. It only take's a minute or two to do so.

I think that with the way that the world is more connected nowadays with phones and computers, you see MORE of everything. MORE good people, MORE regular people and MORE idiots. It is human nature to dwell on what is the worst whether it be inconsiderate people, bad politicians or child molesters. I doubt that there is a greater percentage of child molesters than there were 50 years ago. We just are more aware of things today.
Back to your original topic, I agree that many people are inconsiderate. I tried like hell to get through to the guy selling the Charger that I bought in 2000. He was out of town through the week and didn't list a cell phone #. Sometimes their excuses are valid, sometimes they are not.

My brother responded to a Craigslist add for a camper, he had to email the guy a dozen times just to get a phone number, the guy tells him he can't figure out why he hasn't had any more calls on it. If I am selling something especially online, I make sure to check my email and cell phone multiple time a day.
It's not only sellers that are idiots, some buyers can be idiots too. I listed a scooter on Craigslist, one guy called telling me that it had a lot of miles and that he would give me half my asking price and that he was looking at one with half the miles for the same price(well then you better buy it). Calls back a couple weeks later, and berates me when I say I am on vacation and am out of the state and won't be back for 4 days.

Hey, this is a great thread. I love to hear these stories of how many stupid dopes that there are in the world - I'm just hopin' that no one posts about me! LOL
