Is it just me or are the prices starting to come down to reallity levels? I've seen a lot of relists on ebay after no bids. The funny part is they're relisting for the same starting price. Maybe it will return to a hobby and not business. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe iy's just me.

The prices on these cars are usually pretty much in line with how the economy is doing. I makes sense that they would start to come down a little in price.

Street rodding is going the same way, newer Corvettes are a dime a dozen and I think it is just the fact that the demand is way down due to the tightening of everyones wallets, also alot of out of work guys are flooding the market with toys which doesn't help hold prices high. There are guys that have pulled their money out of the market and they are investing in these cars while they are cheap but there are very few if these boys around my neck of the woods.

Do you think they will drop the price on the new challengers to try to move them?

If you want to buy and have cash now is the time to buy. The dealers here around detroit are dealing on challengers. How about a charger R/T for $16k? seen base Chally's under $20k. I wish I had the extra cash and space I'd be looking to buy another old Mopar. Its like the housing market.

Doubt it. There is only about $2000 over invoice in them to begin with, so there is any room to drop the price. As is you could buy one at invoice or maybe a hair under. It's as simple as saying "you can sell it to me or I'll find another dealership that will" and I guarantee someone will.

I hope that we all can hold on to our toys through this mess, the worst that can hit me is not being able to afford my storage fees for my cars and they have to come home and sit outside. I have been very carefull to keep our budget down and we are benifiting from that finally. I have done without alot to have my cars and they are going nowere.

Aint it great, the price of gas drops after we park our cars! I'm glad the prices have dropped don't get me wrong but half the time I couldn't aford to drive my duster and scamp due to saving my gas money for work vehicles. Whatever way anyone stands poltically let's hope the new administration can make things better. I have an idea for the auto bailout. How about the foreign car Co. bring there workers up to what our workers our making instead of our workers taking a pay cut? Doesn't that put more money in the market?
