I have a pair of manifolds I bought years ago when I was looking for an A body to put a 360 into.
I was told they are 340 manifolds, but looking at them they don't seem much different then the stock 273 looks.
I also have a 4bbl intake manifold, early 273 (has the tilted bolt holes) unmolested. Is this worth anything?

These were going on my car until I decided to go big block!

Numbers on pass side- 3418623D
8.12.72 8ZC
driver side- 3614368-1
3.14.72 8ZC

Numbers on 4BBl intake- A1
6X24
2536563

Can anyone on here tell me what I have?

Thanks in advance, Mike

passenger side is............ both are the 72 - 74 i belives hi-po ones

ok, sorry, i could only run one at a time, and got beat to second one.lol

manifold i would ask 275 for, as they are not the better ones, but still hi-po ones, and they are blasted. intake is of close to no value.lol

You can always tell that later passenger 340 manifold cause it has that rib runnin down it.

Chrysler also made marine intakes for the 360 and 360 that were single plane much like that one.

ok, thank you. i stand corrected on my .02.lol

Naw...you ain't necessarily wrong. If you don't mess with 273s much, you're right. That 273 intake is worthless to you. It all depends on which side of the fence you're on.

273 factory intake is no diff than a 340 factory intake in amt of perceived value...they are both worth something and maybe a little more to a #'s guy

You wanna bet? I have a REAL nice 72 340 intake. If I ever go to sell it, the damned bottom will drop outta the market for um and it will be worthless to everybody. Just sayin.

What Im saying is a cast iron 273 is worth $$ to a 273 #'s guy. Just like a cast iron 340 intake is worth $$ to a 340 #'s guy. Dont know much about 273's, but the LD340 is worth more than cast iron 340 intake all day long.

Oh absolutely. It all depends on what you have as to what it's worth. I would go so far as to say the LD340 is worth more than all of them, especially one with Chrysler part numbers cas into it. I would go even farther to say that it is as far as I'm concerned better than any dual plane available today. Even the sacred Air Gap. I think they flow that good.
