Rebuilding the brakes on my 8.75” rear end for my 1970 Duster and found these gaskets between the rear wheel cylinders and the backing plate. Never seen anything like this in all the cars I’ve worked on over the years. Are the needed?

I bought a complete car seal kit and then made cardboard templates. I then made two more sets with packing material like 12Dart6Pack suggested. I keep the templates in a vanilla folder for future replacements .
