Local guy has these for sale. Say's there 340 T/A heads. Also says 2.02 and 1.60 valves, although they are bare heads.

If you cant make it out in the pics the casting numbers are 34189 5E and 3418915B

According to the casting number list I found online, there are only two castings with those numbers
For 1970 only 340T/A with 2.02 valves.
And for 1971, 72 340 with 1.88 valves.

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on these. Are they worth picking up for $150?
Also didn't the T/A heads use adjustable rockers? Could these be used with standard non adjustable rockers and shafts?
Don't have a 340 or 360 to put these on right now, just wondered if it was a good deal on hard to find heads.

Nope......................They can use any std. rocker arrangement, are they worth $150? If they're not cracked or damaged sure.

Another no, not T/A heads.

Same casting number, but these do not have the offset drilled intake push rod holes.

These are T/A heads MileHighDart. Notice the push rod holes in the head? Offset. Moved away from the intake port.

Needs offset rockers also

many casting lists are off. 3418915 was used on 1970-71 340 with 2.02" intakes , and also some had intake pushrod holes machined spread for offset intake rockers on the six barrel engines. and 1971 360 with 1.88" intakes. date codes = 02-16-0 = feb. 16, 1970 01-23-0 = jan. 23, 1970
