Does anyone have a recommendation for what brand, color, texture argent paint to use on 67 thru 69 dart grills?

Krylon 1401 dull aluminum. Might have to order it. Worth it. Not always available in stores. Google Search: mopar krylon 1401 ...and see that others use it.

Not glossy, has fine metallic like original. Use for Rallye rims too.

MP wheel paint in way off of OE Rallye rim paint. The MP wheel paint is too glossy and has too big metallic flakes.

Duplicolor BHA0971 matched my 72 dart grill perfectly. Im not sure if its correct for the early dart grills but I bet they are the same. Get a can and try it out. You can find it at most auto part chain stores.

It says textured. Under my headlight bezel the untouched argent has a feel to it but it is not what I would call a texture. More like when you spray paint from too far away. Not smooth.

seems to be a match for what you asked for above. Textured, argent paint?

the texture might be from the metallic flake in it.

That company specializes in resto paint and vinyl paint finishes. I have used their stuff before and it’s pretty good but I don’t think I’ve used the argent I bought yet. I bought a can for wheels and grille restoration so, just sharing what I bought

I did not write my question very well.

What I meant:

What brand? (Duplo, PPG etc.)
What color? ( Light, dark, whale gray)
What texture? (No texture, flat paint texture, smooth, wrinkle finish)

i have tried about 10 different spray bombs and nothing matches the dull finish on my '69 dart.
It has a few nicks that i've learned to live with rather than paint it perfect with the incorrect finish/color?

You probably already have it, but this is what I used on mine.
VHT Header paint, silver
Duplicolor Wheel matte finish clear for a top coat. Get gloss if you want it shiny.
Matches perfectly.

My mistake. The Krylon number is 1403 Dull Aluminum
