Newbie here - please pardon if this topic has come up before, I searched the forums but didn't see the subject. Are the chrome and wood knobs interchangeable on the shifter stick? The wood knob is correct for my 71 Duster and I have an opportunity on a great deal for a complete earlier shifter assembly with the chrome knob, but would want to replace the chrome knob with the wood if it's possible. Otherwise, I'll need to find a later shifter assembly with the wood knob. Any info on swapping the chrome knob with wood would be appreciated - thanks!
