I recently acquired a 1974 Plymouth Valiant with the 7 1/4 rear end. The rear axle bearing failed and has worn the axle shaft to where a new bearing would still allow the shaft to slip out in turns.
I read that there are solutions where a bearing could be purchased that would compensate for this. What is the part number? Or does that option only exist for the larger rear ends? I cant for the life of me find a proper length new production axle shaft.
