Wow!! I haven't seen a belted T/A since the early 70's.
I hope that they are only for show.
50 year old tires especially from that time, don't do well at hiway speeds. Bad separations can occur.

They were still making them in the mid 80’s. We had to run them on our circle track car. We had a connection with a large distributor and we’d go through piles of tires looking for the freshest ones.

Agreed,my dad's dart had them on when we bought it years ago. And that car was all over the road felt like you were skating on marbles. Radial tires have come a long way.

Those aren't radial tires. They are bias belted. That is why they say Belted T/A instead of Radial T/A.
They should be like the GoodYear Poly-glas. Polyester body with fibrglass belts.
The original, genuine Radial T/a tires were practically custom made only in one BFG plant. They were all Rayon construction. @ Rayon body plies and 2 folded rayon belts giving 6 plies od rayon in the tread area.
The current T/A is in name only and built on Uniroyal green tires molded in a T/A mold.
