B&M pro stick on a mopar

These shifters have a long throw for park! I was messing with my 727/ shifter untill i realized park had a long throw (on the gate plate)

It's no big problem I'm just going to have to weld a stop in the plate.

Has this problem ever occured with any body else?

I believe they're long to work with GM trans which requires a longer throw to go into park. When connected to your 727 the trans will go into park before it gets to the end of the plate. I think they warn about not forcing the shifter when using with a Chrysler trans.
