Good man!Oh, I still have the car.
Good man!Oh, I still have the car.
I bought a used 69 Mach III while I was in Gainesville. For $300. At first I'd kill the motor starting off at a light until I realized that I had to rev it to three grand just to keep it from stalling. If I really wanted to take off fast, five grand was more like it. Then you had to be sitting way forward to avoid wheelies. No low end torque, but when it got into the power band - hold on!They were both animals 1000ccs of 4 stroke meant nuthin' when them 2 strokes were around.
A simple thumbs-up "like" isn't enough for this picture.
Awesome pictures brings back a lot of memories from growing up in the 70s thanks alot

In case you didn't know the dealership photo with the large statue of a man was Art Grindle Dodge in Orlando. And his arm moved up and down, their slogan was "We want to sell you a car."
