Hi all ...well the electrics in my car are playing tricks on me again. The other day I lost my brake lights ...I thought it was a brake light switch or fuse.. but as it turned out its something more major. I noticed that my hazards did not work in the back as well. My tailights work fine.. but thats it. To me this clearly screams TURN SIGNAL SWITCH !! As far as I know A body lights are grounded to the sockets...and when I bypass the switch with a jumper and the brake lights dont work......then that is the only thing left that it could be. Which leads me to a question....Why are they so damn high ? Even at my work with my discount, they are around 80 bucks...Rock Auto has them for 50 + :angry7:

Many thanks man... that was very helpful...I am going to try that test ...Has anyone else had this issue ? Is it worth my while to get a good working used switch ? ...Another member on here has one I can get..but he has to remove it from his car first...and I just want to see if that would be worth his and my effort....

I replaced a bad switch with a repaired one but that was long ago.
The new switch for the 67 was less than 30.00 then.
Today I wont put that much labor in a used switch.
