balancing? ???

I have a magnum block with a scat stroker rotating assembly. I want to use the serpentine system, but scat tells me to run a neutral balance flex plate and harmonic balancer. .. The engine is supposed to from a 96 motor.... anyone else done this or run into it?

Use a Magnum 318 harmonic balancer and flex plate and get the assembly balanced as a set before engine assembly. Then use a magnum neutral balance converter.

I have a la neutral flex plate with balanced convertor would it work or does it have to be a magnum since it is no longer a magnum crank?

Ask your machinist, he balanced it......
