I am putting my 64 Barracuda back together after many years and cannot remember how the bumper brackets go on the front bumper. Does anyone have any memory of how these things mount on the front of the car?

I currently have the chrome bumper itself, but no brackets attached to the bumper or car.

The elongated hole goes to the top edge. The straighter piece against the frame. The brackets will look as if they are raising the bumper up.

Don't forget the two straps that support the right and left bumper ends. Shown at the bottom of this pic.

There are two different brackets, the inboard and the outboard, and a pair for the other side.

Two of them basically look the same, place on left, the other right, do the same for the other two.

They mount so one flares outboard more than inboard

The bumper face must agree with the bumper.

There are very few combinations.

Have at it.
