ok i have a 68 barracuda that i would like to make into a car the can turn and have it stick. i would like to do a k member and brake switch. but don"t know were to put my cash. its not going to be a drag car, but fast and smooth and safe. any info on kits is good. i can turn a wrench with the best of them so, so pice mill stuff is cool as well.

What budget are we looking at?

What wheel and tire combo will you be running?


We have people doing…..

(Least expensive with good results)

1" Torsion bars
Stock bushings (moog)
KYB Shocks
Sway Bars
Subframe connectors
Good alignment

Then we have the full coil over kits. These basically replace everything up front including the k-member.

This is a much more expensive option and you really should run a performance wheel/tire package to take advantage of the benefits.
 
Doing the cheap route can save you cash$$.If you can find a parts car(73 up A-body)with discs up front,grab the upper control arms(bigger ball joints)the spindles,calipers and the proportioning valve.You can then add a big ball joint in the lower.Maybe a sway bar and you can also buy or make your own frame connectors which will help stiffen your car up and help with handling.Good luck.Total cost is about $600 compared to thousands.
