Hello all,

I took my 1969 Barracuda Notchback to have the headliner replaced, The upholstery guy said I got the wrong headliner. It does not have the 2 sides that go down along the rear window. It is pretty much just a big square, I looked at the part number and it appears to be correct. Does anyone have any experience in replacing headliners in a barracuda notchback?

Thanks

I agree. Mine looks like a big rectangle for my Fastback.

The headliner for my 68 notchback which I got from Paddock was one piece with wings that covered the sail panel area. I ran into a guy with a notchback that had a headliner where the sail panels were a seperate piece of material that was wrapped over a backing. His car had been restored by a reputable restoration house in the area so I figured maybe mine was not correct since Paddock gave you a couple of choices for the headliner material.

I noticed that the Year One web site lists a description for the notchback that has the seperate pieces for the sail panels.

Did you get extra material with yours that was intended to be wrapped over a backing board for the sail panels?

Turns out that the headliner I have would need to have extra material to cover the sail panels. I already ordered a replacement from stockinteriors, com that is one piece including the sails. So I guess I have an extra headliner to sell now. Thanks for the responses.
