Barracuda Roof Rail Clips, Which Way?

I guess the coffee isn’t kicking in yet.

How do the clips go in the roof rail trim? I I’ve tried a couple different ways and I guess I’m not seeing it

I don't know but nether picture looks correct, maybe the top picture if you turn the clip around so it bends inward not outward. I can't see it connecting to anything sticking out like that.

It's been awhile, I think mine had a few different width clips on each rail front to back and they slide in from the end and smaller ones will drop in the middle and slide to the smaller end. I think the big u shape compresses into a channel in the roof?

Thanks there in for the first time in 15 years. The clip did need to be inwards.
