I went and looked at this car, and it needs alot of body work as it is full of mud, blistering through. This is what needs replacing; both rear quarter, both doors need new skins, inter rockers (almost rusted through) and outer rocker panels, and lower rear of the front fenders. Interior is OK, front seats are out of a mustang, and it needs a headliner, dash is just ok. Its drum brake car with power stearing, not a formula S car. Rearend is a 7 1/4" with 14 bp. The car was factory B5 blue with black top. The Frame, trunk, and floor pan are good. The car can be saved but theirs a ton of work that need to be done. He told me that it has been three years sence the car was on the road.
I did offer him $500 less than listed and he got pissed. Just an FYI. Maybe I was wrong, but with the cost of mopar panels and what is need to be replace on this car, I thought it was a fair price. But, I did end up buying a big block trans, front disk brake set up, cam and other big block stuff from him. I wish him luck with the sale, as I always love seeing these type of cars get back on the road.
