It`s only a little more than a week and Barrett-Jackson will be auctioning off some of the most awesome musclecars. I can watch that show for hours. :clock:Who else is going to be watching?

I'll be watchin. A friend of my dad's will probably buy somthing this year as he said that there are alot of cars going up with no reserve this time. Most in part to people losing money in the housing problems, and needing to recoup some $$.

seen carroll shelbys supersnake cobra sell for 5 million,on this afternoons show.i can not believe anyone would spend that much money on anything.i would love to have that car but not that bad

That was last years 2007. They play them to get people warmed up for this years money toss.

hey i'm going to be glued to the tv, though trac may not be all that impressed. though the way work is going i may still be out with the helicopter heli sking.

I watch it every year all day long when Im not working due to the weather. Its like a train wreck, You dont want to look but you have to.

I actually seen this car in person about 10yrs ago.A company by my house restored the car.The car was rough, with many of the parts in boxes around it.There were 2 of these cars built (dual superchargers). The other car was built for Bill Cosby, which has since been totalled.Hard to believe I was standing next to a 5 million dollar car.

I think that car was bought for a museum but I`m not certain. ??? Ironically I don`t think Carroll Shelby owned that car.

haha the only way i would spend that much on a car is if i could live in it and it could fly

I'll be going to it --- it's only about a 1/2 hr. from my house. The damn thing is, it's soo expensive just to get in a regular person can only afford to go 1 day and that's usually a week day when there's not many cars there. It's a gas going & seeing just how many dumb VERY rich people there are in the world and what they'll throw money at with no clue as to what the car's REALLY are.

As usual i'll be watching,if i ever hit the lottery i'll be right there with them,i already own my dream car but would love a '68 road runner, and a '70 challenger t/a..:-D

i will be glued to the chair. i noticed that there will be a 68 cuda 383 4spd formula s going across the block. if you go to their site, you can see the cars pre reg'd. wonder what kinda money that will bring? hardly ever an a body there except for ss darts and cudas.

Poor lowly A-body ,they`ll probably sell it on a Tuesday morning and save all the Z-28`s for Friday night. I`ll have to see what that Formula-S sells for (since I have a special interest in that make/model:-D), I have seen a 69 fastback M code sell for 65K a couple years back.

who saw the all original 71 Hemi 'Cuda sell for $500,000?

so many beautiful cars!

I can't stand watching that on TV... they televise every freaking Corvette ever built and then go to commercial when something interesting approaches the block. How rare can a 427 "tanker" Corvette be when 15 of them cross the auction block the same day?!?

Besides, I blame B-J for pricing the enthusiast out of the musclecar market.

One of these years I'll have to go myself. My Father-in-law lives in Pheonix and we're over due for a visit.....

So, a `68 383-S is going to be up for auction? Cool... just hope it's during a high-visibilty time slot. I'd love to see what it brings in.

And yes, I don't move off the recliner for a week when the auction is on except for food & the bathroom....:-D

Yes, you can go to the B-J web site and look at all the cars. The '68 Barracuda is GG1 dark green, black interior, 4 spd, console, and looks to be a top notch restoration. I would think that car would bring some good money.

What more can I say...
I'll be watching it and recording the times I will not be able to watch.
Thank god for PVR's, I can fast forward over the vettes, chevelles and camaros.
More interesting is what none #s, "re-creations" and what not are bringing in.

Did you see the look on the guys face who built the "Last Stingray",after it didnt get anywhere near what he was expecting?
A look of utter disguist.............

supersnakes i believe 1 crashed over a mountain side n the other bill cosby owned n returned it 'cause it was to much power... but i'll be watching but i hate that to enjoy any muscle car now a days you have to be wealthy... look at them prices talk about some crimminal activity goin on
