battery location

where did everyone put the battery when they did the magnum swap and kept the serpentine belt system.

some have cut their battery box down and used a smaller battery. i used a power steering bracket from a magnum van, which sets your pump lower. dave.

i was told there is no difference between the van and truck one. so i used the truck and cant use the van cause im not using an AC delete bracket i cut that stop off..

the van bracket does put the pump at a lower level than the truck. the ac pump mounts the same on either bracket. i kept the magnum ac compressor so mine worked good. i believe jcb426 used the truck bracket and cut an inch or two off the side of the battery box. forget what battery he used.

are you keeping the ac pump or are you just not using the ac delete pulley?

not using the ac and not using a delete pulley we cut that part of the bracket off.. thats y i need to keep the truck ps bracket it a lower the ps it will cause my belts to rub
