Battery tray questions

Does the battery tray sit kind of crooked front to back. I have a AMD repop, and the body shop did a craptastic job on patching some rust in that area. I did have to do some messaging to the fenderwell front corner of the tray to get it to fit enough to get the bolt that attachs the battery tray to the radiator support. Just wondered if it being crooked is right or if I have the wrong year tray, or if its a bad repop.

Just looked at the tray and battery here and it is not inline with the car.
Did not notice this until you asked about it. Yes it is crooked.
