Wanted set of 1.6 rockers with correct offset for edelbrock mw victor heads.paul

hughs engines: watch your pushrod clearance thru the heads. mine were supposedly cnc`d for clearance, but I had to work on em three times to get it.------bob

Yes i was looking at them but the fact that they recommend cyro treatment when going as big a cam and springs that i may use gives me pause. I have used harlan sharps for years with no problems. With the new cnc victor heads that we are developing they flow well up to and over .800 lift at over 400 cfm. the other alternatives seem to be jesel or t&d. looking for used sets to experiment with rather than buying several new sets. thanks paul

just wondering, are the rocker shafts for needle bearing type rocker arms, especially hard, or hardened ? my cnc victor knock offs flow 352 @ .600 . runninning a .620 lift street roller, in a 505" wedge. the hughs rockers seem kind of soft to me . ----:coffee2:bob

Yes Bob the rocker shafts have to be harder for a roller bearing as the point loading is a lot higher than a bushing. probably will stick with harlan sharps unless i can find the money to go with t&d or jesel but i do see little advantage for them at what i am doing. i have run harlans with 750 rollers making about 775 hp and no problems but i do run light spring preasure than most. lighter weights like crane did not survive real well. well speed costs how fast will your wallet allow you to go.? thanks paul
