before i buy i wanted to make sure these are the headers i need. i have a 69 barracuda with a 400.

Those are for a B or E body. Not likely to fit an A body.

i dont think so... the 69 baracudas have the same engine bay as the dusters i think, so these prob wont work

Any a-body header is $600 plus. Try Schumacher if you do not want to cut up your inner fenders.

I've seen that before
Did they need a torque strap? (probably)
Did the starter get fried? (hopefully not)
Will it work with a 4 speed? (NO)

I've heard if you replace the motor mounts that helps get the engine in the right place and helps header clearance.
