I'm ready to start the Big block conversion project on my Duster. Presently has a 340/4sp. Already have a good running motor, but not the trans/bell housing. Looks like the only really major thing I'll have to worry about is obtaining a good bell housing, possibly Z-bar issues.
I've noticed it looks like the BB housings use either a 10.5 or 11 inch clutch. Is this true? What are the compatibility issues if any? I will probably go with an aftermarket Centerforce clutch, or something like that anyway. Also, is there any potential problems using the existing short-tailshaft A833?
Many thanks... :salut:
