Best Parts Supplier

honestly, summit or rock auto should be able to hook it up. if you don't mind sourcing from several suppliers and know what you want specifically you could maybe get a little bit better pricing off ebay

I'm a big fan of Summit. My only concern is quality parts, particularly with internal engine parts like cam shafts, lifters, bearings and rings. Imported parts concern me!

the good part about summit is that their returns are easy. also, they generally list mfg. origin in the part descriptions.

this day in age, cams & lifters are of particular concern regarding quality. depending on the direction that you're taking the build i'd be inclined to clean up and reuse what you've got or send it out and have the cam reground and the lifters refaced.

Not a bad idea!

Campbell enterprises has all the pistons available for a 383, reasonably priced.
I would piece the whole rebuild out, Clevite bearings, Hastings rings and Felpro gaskets
Save your money and get a set of 440 Source heads and have them checked out and tuned up by the machine shop they use, Brandon is good about backing his parts up.
