Hey all!
Working on my ‘66 Cuda, but a Right Stuff Detailing four wheel disc brake conversion kit on it and have everything set up (Thanks to members on this board for helping me piece together missing components in the parking brake system). Bled the master cylinder and began the brake bleeding procedures and noticed weeping at three, possibly four different locations, I’ve thought about cutting and re flaring those areas but thought, maybe, since I replaced entire brake system it might be wise to simply replace all the lines as well.

So, does anyone recommend a brand of pre-bent brake lines of quality, possibly NiCop?

I used the stainless steel ones from Classic Industries, they fit great, no leaks.

Brakes lines have always been good from any of the pre bet companies for me. Not so good with trans cooler lines, intake fuel lines, Half I get are bent 180 degrees off at some point!!!

I also had some trouble with the right stuff ss lines. I just loosened and tightened them a bunch of times and finally the weeping stopped.

You can't go wrong with In-Line Tube, I used them on my 66 Barracuda and it all went well. Going on about 7 years now since I built my 66 Barracuda and still not a drop. I went with a duel master cylinder and a front disk brake conversion 2 years ago and I used In-Line Tube for the M/C lines "67 and up" and the block, no problems.

I bought the stainless steel In-Line Tube brake, trans and fuel lines, no problems.

Does anyone have experience with a subframed, mini tubbed car with pre bent tubes? I feel like I should just spend my money on a quality flare tool. If you agree, then what style/brand did you go with. Thanks!

Best for my money.

It's very easy to bend your own from parts store straight sections.

I would buy the pre-bent for the front, and use parts store Ni-Cu pre-flared lines, for the rear.
Most likely you can do it this way with no flare tools or benders.
The Ni-Cu lines come in various lengths, so careful planning with the lengths, just buy inverted flare couplers to screw them together.

I got brake lines from Inline, fuel from Fine Lines and trans cooler from Right Stuff. All are OEM style. Only issue I had was the ends going to trans cooler were not at the right position, but probably just that I ordered the wrong ones thinking they were same. Good quality from any of these companies.

it might not have been the order.I tried pre-made trans lines and the fit was terrible.By the time i was done making them fit they went in the garbage.I know of other guys that had the same problem.
I think the pre bent brake lines usually fit great..still i make my own.
The front passenger side can be tricky!
