Best Tire Size?

What is the best tire size for 14" X 5 1/2" Rallye wheel? This is for the front of my '71 Dart GT. Currently 215/70R14s. I get a little tire rub with tight turns. I added the SSBC front disc brakes and i think that increased the track width a bit.

I assumed there would've been a chart online that could help, but everywhere I look I see "this tire will fit rims from X to X+ wide".

I am running 205/70/14 on the Dart Sport and Duster. no problems.

So if you like your current tire sizes height but just want it narrower go with a 205/75r14.
It will only be roughly a 1/4" or .25" taller overall then the current size you are running, now since your dealing with a round object you divide the difference in half, so 1/4" overall higher means 1/8" larger towards the ground and 1/8 larger towards the wheel well or towards the sky. Keep in mind this is approximate, sizes may vary by brand. How ever be aware that since 205/75r14 is a common trailer tire size there is a limited availability for 205/75r14 passenger tires

Or if you want to go with 205/70r14 as trudy is running that size tire compared to your current size will be 1/2" overall shorter or 1/4" towards the ground and 1/4 shorter on the top
