After I installed the new M/C, rear wheel cylinders and new calipers, I still needed to flush the steel lines on one of my cars when converting to silicone, Didn't have any vacuum or pressure equipment but did have old fashioned foot power (the wife). I used denatured alcohol to flush the lines and had my wife pump the brakes. Was readily apparent when the alcohol replaced the DOT 3. Was also readily apparent when the DOT 5 replaced the alcohol. Still don't have any equipment but the wife's foot power so I guess I'm still good to go :toothy7:
