Best Way To Store A Carby??

Hello all
I have a mighty demon 4bbl carby that I want to store for a will, what is the best way to keep it fresh for when I go to use it down the track.

Drained a d dried of all has with some type of lid on top of it. Inside a box in a closet is a plus.
