Question for the guru's. I have a slant six in my Scamp that I autocross regularly. Would an aluminum headed and intake small block have better weight distribution than the six? Considering at least a cylinder is currently hanging father out past the motor mounts than a small block has by about 7 inches. I'm sure the small block would have a lower center of gravity. Current info on a slant weight is 475 and an iron headed small block is about 530. Ideas, suggestions? Thanks

The Slant will have a lower CG...90 pounds of Crankshaft down there. Swapping to an 80's aluminum intake will save you some top weight.
