Found a never run pair of these from an old circle track racer. I've nevery seen these before, 26.5 x 8 15. They are around 10 years old. For 20 bucks apiece would these be worth it for trips to the track? Would they hook okay or not be worth it? Car is 69 4 speed 383 barracuda, mostly stock suspension and maybe 450hp.

I'll update this, did some reaearch. Obivously these have stiff sidewalls and a hard compound as they are asphalt circle track tires. Online I found mixed reviews from people that tried them at the dragstrip. General consensus is for a slower car they will work ok, better than a street tire but take some long burnouts to get hot, but not even comparable to a drag tire. I got the pair for 20 so worth it to try, I have a pair of 15" sbp wheels just sitting around. If nothing else the short tire will help my 3.55.

I would not trust them. Ten year old tires are just too old.

I agree, I just replaced my 90% tread tired because they were 10 years old.
