Looking for a clean, resonable priced set of '67-'69 383 BB A-body manifolds. '68-'69 manifolds with the casting numbers:

2946729 left (has dimple in cyl 3 runner)
2863900 right

is preferred since this is for a 1969 car. Will also consider a '67 set.

The set I have are broken beyond reasonable repair.

Thanks, Charles

I will buy the broken set if you decide to sell. I did sell a set of 69's for $1800 in March. I will let you know if I get another set.

Your drivers side manifold would be perfect to make a version of the Accurate manifolds that were done 20 years ago...

That's what I was thinking... idk if it would be 100% FAST legal but they do let some things slide. Sure would help 500 cubes breath.

Those can be easily welded back together if you have all the pieces, or not.

I use Crown Alloys Company, Royal 44-30 wire in a MIG all the time to repair cast iron parts. The best wire on the market for cast iron repairs.

Also there is no need to pre-heat, or post-heat the metal. It just plain works.

Would this be good for building up engine block ears too? Have any pictures of repair work you've done with it? Thanks!

It would be an excellent wire for building ears back. I don't keep track/ photograph what I weld. I've used this product for at least 20-years and have welded wood stoves, blocks, heads, intakes, and exhaust manifolds. If it's cast iron it will take care of it. The real secret of this wire is the 35% elongation if needed on the base you're welding too. Most cast iron doesn't expand that far, but use a regular MIG wire and it doesn't allow enough expansion a lot of times so it cracks the welds. This wire melts like butter and makes a really nice controlled weld.

Have purchased a 1967 set of 383 manifolds thanks to rlcbit. Will still consider purchasing a '68-'69 set of 383 manifolds if the price is right.

Thanks, Charles
